Enjeux, processus et conséquences des logiques d'acteurs sur la répartition des familles monoparentales dans le SCoT de Caen-la-Mer

Abstract : Considered marginal until the 1980s, the single-parent family became a socially important phenomenon in less than 20 years. Today, this categoy (more than 80% of which are women) accounts for nearly a third of families with children and is growing streadily. Morevover, these families are not all equal when it comes to housing. As the main cause of household budget spending, housing is a major vector of social and spatial inequality. Also, we will see, through the crossing of the social profile of single-parent families and the quality of housing, how inequalities in access to housing are formed. We will also see how social landlords try to use single-parent families as a factor of social mix and how they create other inequalities in access to public housing.
