L’attention des élèves en classe : un enseignement explicite favorable à une amélioration

Abstract : Stanislas Dehaene considered attention as one of the four pillars of the process of learning. Accordingly, it is of paramount importance for the teacher to manage to get the attention of his students while in the classroom. For several years, the use of relaxation and meditation has increasingly been used by teachers to allow children to take time to focus. However, can those exercises be efficient if the student does not master the sophistication of the attentional process? According to Jean-Philippe Lachaux, neurobiologist and research director from the Lyon Inserm, it is possible to improve one’s attention threw a practice based on learning and indentifying focus factors. This research will observe the effects of a work explaining focus threw the program ATOLE created by Jean-Philippe Lachaux.
