Reconstruction osseuse alvéolaire dans le cadre des fentes labio-alvéolo-palatines unilatérales

Abstract : The cleft lip and palate patient require a specific medical and dental care. Firstly, the context related to the multidisciplinary care of those patients is analyzed. A second part exposes that care from childhood to the end of the teenage years, in an effort to define the various current schools of thought and future prospects we can expect in regard to their rehabilitation during the growth period, as well as the role of each practitioner of the multidisciplinary team, and in particular the dentist’s role throughout the course of the treatment pathway. The last part addresses the aftermath treatment of those dysmorphoses at adulthood, especially centered around the alveolar bone reconstruction before implant treatment in the cleft zone.
