Exploration de l’état d’esprit et des modifications individuelles d’organisation de médecins généralistes au cours de la pandémie de SARS-CoV-2 : le cas d’un cabinet médical

Abstract : Introduction: Epidemics have a strong impact on the collective imagination and the organization of healthcare systems. The COVID-19 health crisis is no exception. The objective of this study is to analyze the evolution of the state of mind and the individual organization of general practitioners. Method: Qualitative study through semi-structured interviews of 14 general practitioners working in the same group practice. Results: The change in their state of mind is marked by stress and doubt, but with reassurance from working in a group. The evolution of their organization is marked by hand hygiene, personal protection, the fact of no longer shaking hands with the patient and the practice of teleconsultation. Conclusion: If cognitive biases were responsible for an initial underestimation of the situation, the physicians both reinforced organizational measures already existing within the practice and implemented new ones in line with the evolution their perception of the epidemic.
