Gestion du volume osseux post-traumatique pré-implantaire : particularités du secteur antérieur

Abstract : During life, any human being can face shocks, traumas which can affect the orofacial sphere. As these accidents can lead to dental lesions, the dental surgeon will have to act quickly in order to preserve dental structures as much as possible. The management of the post-extraction bone volume is a key point for the treatment (aesthetics, realization of a dento-supported or implant-supported prosthesis ...). Indeed, the alveolar resorption following the expulsion of the traumatized tooth (both in height and in thickness) is a physiological and inevitable phenomenon. Therefore, the dental surgeon must be aware of the techniques available : atraumatic avulsion (use of a periotome, root section, forced orthodontic eruption, etc.), management of the bone volume based on the guided bone regeneration (use of membrane and biomaterials fillers).
