Étude du potentiel de décarbonisation de l'industrie papetière : valorisation de l'hydrogène vert et de ses co-produits

Abstract : The decarbonisation of the paper industry involves, in particular, converting the fleet of combustion engine trucks into electric – dihydrogen powered vehicles. Sizing the electrolyser according to the oxygen requirements for pulp bleaching contributes to creating a viable and optimised hydrogen ecosystem for the industry, around which the "zero carbon emissions" in 2050. The planned reduced carbon credits allocation may prove an adequate financial incentive for that purpose. All the more than large on-site renewable power generation fosters a very efficient electrolysis, paving the way for a new income stream along the associated environmental benefits. This proves an astute and powerful linchpin of the energy transition, killing two birds with the same stone: clean industry and and decarbonised mobility.
