Étude sur l'abondance et les groupes écologiques des vers de terre dans un bassin d'infiltration (est-lyonnais)

Abstract : Urban areas artificialisation involves impermeabilization and runoff issues. In order to limit potential environmental and sanitary risks, stormwater can be managed, for example with alternatives systems like infiltration basins. However, stormwater accumulate pollutants through the atmosphere, urban materials and on the soil, by lixiviation. These basins can also be full of different types of flora and fauna.This study aims to understand the boundaries between earthworms abundance and physico-chemical (with pollutants) parameters of the sediment from an infiltration basin in eastern Lyon. A special attention was given on the differences between epigeic and endogeic, adults and juveniles. Samples were collected in 2013, so the goal was to create a statistical reflexion, to have clear and justified results. Just a few links have finally been clearly identified, certainly because of the lack of datas, but the subject has a huge importance for these systems management and confirm the interest of earthworms as bioindicators in an artificial system.
