L'intelligence artificielle en radiologie dentaire : une revue systématique de la littérature

Abstract : The number of scientific publications concerning the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in dental radiology has increased in recent years. The current literature presents potential applications of artificial intelligence but also direct clinical applications in the radiological practice of the dental surgeon. The main tasks performed by AI are the improvement of digital radiographic data, tooth location, detection of radiolucent lesions, cysts and/or tumors, localization of cephalometric landmarks and diagnosis of osteoporosis on dental panoramic. Nevertheless, many further developments are still necessary in order to integrate AI into the daily work in the dental practice.
