La chirurgie minimalement invasive dans la prise en charge des lésions intra-osseuses

Abstract : Minimally invasive periodontal surgery (MlS) represents an important advance in the treatment and regeneration of periodontal tissues. Thanks to its innovative surgical techniques, it is now possible to bring patients to optimal periodontal health without the negative consequences usually associated with traditional periodontal surgeries. The essence of MIS is to promote the regeneration of lost bone, periodontal ligament ancl connective tissue while using minirnal incisions, miniimal reflecticn of tissue, maintaining a blood supply, and restricting the surgery only to areas of localized, deeper pockets.
The main objective of this manuscript is to provide an overview of the current scientific literature data on minimally invasive surgery and to present its indications, strengths and limitations in the management of intra-bony defects. The first part deals with the generalities and definitions of the stated concepts. The second part describes the various minimally invasive surgical techniques. The third part talks about the benefits of this type of surgery, whether associated with alternative biomaterials or not, through a critical analogy of the literature.
