Participation des orthophonistes aux équipes éducatives et équipes de suivi de la scolarisation : état des lieux

Abstract : Educational teams and school follow-up teams are meetings that take place within the school. They bring together professionals who work with a student with special needs. Speech and language therapists are likely to participate in order to bring their expertise. However, no specific procedure is currently referenced in the NGAP for speech therapists. Through two questionnaires sent to speech therapists and teachers, we have highlighted the benefits and limitations of speech therapists' participation. Both our populations agree that the presence of SLPs at these meetings seems to be beneficial for the child, the teacher and the AESH. However, the absence of a legislative framework, raising, among other things, the delicate question of respect for medical confidentiality, appears to be a limiting factor.
