Test de Lecture Indirecte Minutée (LIM) chez les adultes devenus sourds implantés cochléaires : élaboration d’épreuve en vue d’une standardisation

Abstract : Perception of speech in communication situations remains a major problem in adults who have become deaf with cochlear implants. Post-implantation management includes assessments for which few tools have been calibrated to date. The first objective of this study is the creation of a questionnaire in order to collect the experience of speech therapists in post-implantation assessment. These results highlight the lack of speec perception tests and the lack of calibrated texts for speech tracking test. The interest of creating a speech tracking test is therefore expressed, and leads to the creation of six texts on two different levels of complexity using the Scolarius readability tool. The experimentation of the new test is carried out in a second phase, with twenty one normo-hearing adults and nine adult patients who have become deaf with cochlear implants. These pre-tests give an idea of the standard of speech processing speed, and underline the feasibility and relevance of the test created on the patients.
