Stratégies de développement d’enquêtes auprès du personnel soignant : exemple d'une enquête auprès des médecins ORL

Abstract : This thesis, named « strategies for developing surveys for healthcare staff » aims to present the current state of art in regards to designing surveys and to propose a guide, based on a survey I conducted for my ESSEC advanced master diploma. Realizing a survey often seems to be a long and complex project, while it is a tool largely used in healthcare and other sectors. For instance, during a research project, the team in charge may need a survey to gather information to explore a new area. During my master at ESSEC Business School, I realized a thesis on the following subject: “Impact of the portfolio rationalization on the perception of health care quality by medical staff”. This work was based on a survey of ENT physicians in France. As it is challenging to find the best practices to design a survey, this work aims to define the needed steps to realize it. The steps include the selection of both the type of survey and type of study, and the definition of variables as a preparation. Then, for the realization, the searcher needs to select the sample, to design the backbone of the study, and to write down the study’s questions while avoiding bias. After sending the survey, the results can be collected and analyzed to answer the question raised.
