Évolution des choix de méthodes de contraception des étudiantes en deuxième année de Master à l’Université Grenoble-Alpes en 2021

Abstract : Objectives: To describe the contraception of female students in the first year of their undergraduate degree and the last year of their Master's degree outside the health sector. To determine the percentage of UGA Master 2 students who changed contraception during their studies and describe the reasons for these changes. Material and methods: Quantitative, cross-sectional, descriptive, monocentric study carried out by an anonymous online questionnaire from 22 November 2020 to 25 January 2021. It was distributed to female Master 2 students at the University of Grenoble-Alpes via the secretariats of the different courses surveyed. Results: 76 questionnaires were analysed. 54% of students changed contraception during their studies. The students changed contraception because the side effects were too strong and they wanted a contraception without hormones. The use of the pill and condom decreased in favour of the IUD. Conclusion : The students changed their contraception during their studies to LARCs.
