Application des critères de qualité en régulation lors de la permanence des soins ambulatoires à La Réunion

Abstract : Background : General practitioners participate in the permanence of outpatient care through emergency call centers. In order to improve this activity, a chart of quality criteria was introduced in Reunion in 2009 by the members of ARRMEL. The study objective is to define the application rate of the quality criteria ten years after the chart development. Method : This is a retrospective cross-sectional observational study of 360 calls received between January and February 2019 Results : The maintenance criteria are applied more than 75%. However, the medical criteria are not as frequently applied. Some criteria are not suitable for regulation and others are subjective. Conclusion : To standardize the quality of liberal regulation, the chart of quality criteria has to be changed and its application by medical regulators strengthened. GAP sessions seem to be the right place to make these changes.
