La Biologically Oriented Preparation Technique (BOPT) peut-elle devenir un gold standard de préparation périphérique en prothèse fixée ? Description, étapes de réalisation, et présentation d’un cas clinique

Abstract : In order to meet the ever-increasing expectations of patients and practitioners, today’s prosthetic restorations must satisfy three fundamental principles : saving of dental structure, biological integration and esthetic integration. To this end, Loi suggests the Biologically Oriented Preparation Technique (BOPT), which would allow the practitioner to more easily fulfill all these objectives. This work proposes to explain the principle of the BOPT through the description of its clinical steps, the presentation of the ceramic systems available to us and the relevance of using zirconia, and a clinical case report.
