Quels sont les besoins en médicaments de la population lors des horaires de garde ? Analyse de la prescription et de la délivrance des médicaments lors des horaires de permanence des soins sur le secteur de la Maurienne

Abstract : What is the medicine needs of the population during on-call hours? A prescription and delivery’s analysis of drugs during permanent care schedules in the Maurienne sector Introduction: The permanent access to care (PDSA) resulting from the 2003 reform in FRANCE allowed the emergence of medical on-call centers (MMGs), a fixed consultations point outside of the opening hours of medical practices. In view of the consultation’s types carried out in MMG (mainly acute problems of an infectious nature) it’s possible that a recurrence exists in the prescription of drugs. Objectives: Analysis and comparison of prescribed and delivered drugs in MMG and on-call pharmacy outside of the opening hours of care in the Maurienne on-call sector. Material and method: We carried out a prospective observational study, involving the MMG of St-Jean-de-Maurienne as well as the 13 pharmacies of the on -call sector. Were collected the data concerning the drugs prescribed and delivered as well as the number of visits and consultations giving rise to a drug prescription in MMG and the number of visits to the on-call pharmacy. The datas were analyzed from a descriptive point of view and then compared between MMG and pharmacies Results: It was found a strong recurrence in the prescription as in the dispensing of drugs, making it possible to isolate 13 molecules representing 57.3% of prescriptions and 54.4% of dispensations. There are fewer visits to pharmacies than to MMGs with a decrease in the number of visits to pharmacies depending on their distance from MMG. Discussion: We have mentioned several solutions to improve patient comfort in the PDSA, such as dispensing medication by the on-call doctor, automated dispensing or relocation of the on-call pharmacist. Conclusion: The availability of the drug on the spot during consultations in MMG would allow a better comfort for the patient and a reduction of the loss of chance due to a potential delay of taking.
