Conditions d’hybridation de l’enseignement pour engager les élèves dans le travail scolaire ?

Abstract : The aim of this professional research paper is to study the impact of Blended Learning on the students’ commitment. This includes Blended Learning combined with the Design of Pedagogical Patterns for Learning including Technology, and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) from Ajzen. It highlights how teachers can favour perceived behavioral control to activate behavior intentions from students. The purpose of the report is to demonstrate in a class of “première STMG” (year 11 of Science and Management Technologies) that Blended Learning with Diana Laurillard’s patterns and TPB’s theory engages students more and leads to an improvement in their results. The commitment is measured with surveys and effective actions. Experimental group students’ actions and results are compared with those of a traditionnal control class. The results are quite clear: students are more engaged to do work during a Blended Learning class than in a classic class. The results of the first assessment show that Blended Learning and TPB raises students to a better mastery and knowledge of program notions. Because Blended Learning respects the different rhythms of learning and different needs of students, we can consider it as a very engaging pedagogical teaching method.
