Apport du Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) dans les alvéoles post-extraction et dans le cadre d'implantation immédiate post-extractionnelle

Abstract : Tooth extraction is one of the most common procedures performed by dentists. The loss of one or more teeth leads to the consideration of prosthetic rehabilitation solutions. Optimization of the healing potential of the dental alveolus by the use of biomaterials would improve the overall management of therapies, especially concerning the preservation of the alveolar ridge. The objective of this review is to evaluate the contribution of PRF in following tooth avulsion and in the context of immediate implant. The results of this study show a positive contribution of PRF to alveolar preservation and a trend towards improved wound healing during the initial stages of healing. However, the conclusions of the review should be taken with caution as the level of evidence is low.
