Les dispositifs d’accueil des assistantes maternelles en bibliothèque

Abstract : How to share and pass on to professionals with no literary academic background the importance of reading to young children? How to read together to babies and toddlers, and share tasks when these professionals do not have the same view of children and books? This master’s thesis concerns the collaboration that can take place between librarians and childminders through measures set up for these childcare’s professionals. It questions the involved professionals’ goals, motivations and views based on interviews and research on the childminders’ reception in several libraries. We will examine why and how librarians involve these professionals in reading to young children, and how their collaboration is built.
