Quel avenir pour l'exploitation ferroviaire en 2050 ? Définition d'une vision cible de la gestion opérationnelle des circulations

Abstract : International traffic increase, free competition for passenger's traffic, BIT (Basic Interval timetable), implementation of new signalling technologies (ERTMS, GSM-R), centralised command project, the French railway network will get through a lot of evolutions which will change operations control in the future. RFF has entrusted ARCADIS the mission to get a 2050 vision of operations control, breaking with the present system and free from technical constraints. This research project deals with switching and traffic control. 2050 vision will be based on present system diagnostic and limits, future evolutions and needs of the network, foreign experiences the knowledge of ARCADIS group and its expertise in some specific field. Operations control will be tackled by six aspects: organization, equipments and ergonomy, control and command tool, human resources management, information/communication, and security.
