Influence de l'architecture du couvert de blé et de la technique de pulvérisation à bas volume sur l'interception foliaire du fongicide et le développement de Septoria tritici

Abstract : This internship is part of the ECHAP project: "Reducing the use of fungicides by combining optimal treatment strategies with crops that can "escape" to diseases". The goal is to combine innovative control techniques to identify strategies for protection against pests. The system set up aims to identify the architectural parameters that influence the epidemic development of S. tritici but also to validate the hypothesis of reasoned application techniques which include the principle of low volumes and dose optimization. To do so, studies were conducted to consider the interface fungus-fungicide by testing a fungicide trial and the interface fungicide-wheat leaves through measurements of foliar retention by using a tracer. The results showed more retention of low-volume sprays in comparison to conventional spraying techniques even though it doesn't seem to increase the biological efficacy. However reduction in doses severely increased disease levels and affected thousand grain weight. Results also showed large differences in mean deposits at two growth stages respectively 32 and 39 GSZ. Retention at a certain growth stage depends on weather conditions and/or the variety (it was not possible to dissociate these two criteria). Leaf deposits differed from one leaf stratus to another. Spray retention between strata seems to be related to crop density but needs to be considered separately for each spray volume, variety and growth stage.
