Entraînement multisensoriel et apprentissage de l’écriture des chiffres

Abstract : Following some studies showing the effectiveness of a multisensory preparatory training to train reading, to learn writing and to recognize geometrical figures, searching to know if a multisensory preparatory training would be effective in helping young children to overcome the troubles they will meet when learning the writing of figures, specifically mirror writing, when they are between five and six years old. This memorandum brings an answer to this question. The capacity to write figures of forty-two children has been evaluated, while splitting them in two groups: one will follow a preparatory training focusing the visual and aural attention of the child, while the other group will follow a preparatory training focusing their multisensory attention added to the other two. The results of these evaluations show that a multisensory preparatory training leads to a greater reduction of the average number of mirror writings of figures than a more “classical” preparatory training.
