Utilisation d'un système de CFAO autonome au cabinet dentaire dans la thérapeutique implantaire. Étude de cas cliniques

Abstract : This aims of this study is to provide the dentist an approach to the use of design and manufacturing computer-aided (CAD/CAM) in oral implantology in his office. This technology is as much an asset to the surgical steps than prosthetic. The firs part explains the importance of achieving a pre-implant prosthetic project in surgical planning, then describess the new impression techniques and the new prosthetic materials used in CFAO. The second part is dedicatedto the study of various cases in implantology with the CEREC® CAD/CAM system by Sirona®.The third part discusses the advantages and limitations of the system CEREC® in implant therapy. The use of CADACAM implantology is a real asset for patients. However, the use of a laboratory technician is indispensable for the realization of complex dentures. Technlogical advances offer promising future in dentistry in general and implantology in particular.
