En quoi les pratiques enseignantes renforcent-elles les inégalités de genre ?

Abstract : This reflective writing focuses on the following issue: "How do teaching practices contribute to reinforcing gender inequalities?". The theoretical framework is drawn from numerous studies carried out during the last fifty years ranging from the analyzes of Elena Gianini Belotti (1973) to the more recent researches of Mosconi, Zaidman, Baudelot and Establet. The notion of gender diversity is largely discussed, from a theoretical, historical and practical point of view. Quantitative contributions anchored in the news were added, including INSEE data and references to the latest CNESCO report. Field observations are particularly carried out in a vocational high school in Nantes where 4 hours of lessons given in a mixed class by two teachers were observed. The two interventions, filmed, are then dissected and encoded for a quantitative and systematic analysis of the different teaching interventions. At the end of this analysis, disparities in treatment according to the sexes are noted which tends to confirm the studies previously conducted by the researchers cited in the theoretical approach.
