La hiérarchisation segmentaire du bras dans le geste graphique en moyenne section : comment aider les élèves à hiérarchiser leurs segments du bras afin qu'ils adoptent et gardent la bonne posture pour réaliser le geste graphique ?

Abstract : The segmental hierarchization of the arm is one of the kinesthetic processes necessary for the control of the graphic gesture, essential to the mastery of handwriting. Left-handers, forced into an environment designed by and for right-handers, have difficulties in developing the right motor gesture. However, whatever the laterality of the student, the segmental hierarchization requires, from a very young age, learning by repetition in order to develop a neural network. An absence of the latter will lead to a bad hierarchization of the segments of the arm. Furthermore, a major obstacle can prevent this learning, despite repeated exercises : resistance to change. Indeed, even if the individual is made aware that the motor gesture that has been learned is not correct, it will still be difficult for him to put aside his habits and replace them, because that would mean that it is called into question, and that it would come out of its comfort zone.
To avoid this resistance to change, I decided to set up a game that would allow middle-aged students of 4.5 years, right-handed or left-handed, to acquire the hierarchy of arm segments without rejection. At the end of three weeks of experience, all the participating students progressed, even if it was not done at the same speed.
