Énergies renouvelables et intégration paysagère

Abstract : The development of renewable energies, especially ground-based photovoltaic parks and biogas units throughout French territory questions the relationship we have with energy. Formerly centralized and spread over a few sites only, the energy production in France sets up within our territories and our everyday lives. This is the direct consequence of national and European commitments in order to combat climate change. This raises issues of landscape quality of those new equipment. On this point, town planning documents will first be analysed through the relation they could create between landscape and renewable energies. On a practical perspective, the decision-making process has been spotlighted and questioned in order to try to understand all the logics, which are not limited to landscape quality, that can gravitate around ground-based photovoltaic plant and biogas units.
