L'institutionnalisation des savoirs à l’issue d’un travail de groupe des élèves

Abstract : The concept of devolution invites us to think about a pivotal step, that of the passage of time from the activity of pupils to the time of construction of the formalized common course. The institutionalization phase aims at a triple objective, that of validating, decontextualizing and depersonalizing the knowledge produced by the students during a task. The main challenge of this research is to determine whether, in a context of differentiated group work, a process of devolution in two stages - oral restitution of the group work then interactions with the class - allowed all students to invest in the process of acquiring knowledge. The data were constructed from observation of devolution time in two different 4th grade classes. It shows that the commitment of students to the task of devolution makes it more efficient.
