Apprendre à chercher en groupe en CE1

Abstract : Group work is a common practice in many classrooms as it represents a pedagogical method from which many benefits can be derived, in a learning perspective and in a social construction step of pupils. This dissertation focuses on the implementation of group working in a "cycle 2" class and examines the conditions that allow to obtain an efficient work organisation. It presents the general evolution of the class but also the improvement made by several individual pupils facing repeated group work situations. It also endeavours to describe the essential elements of preparation that enable the teacher to define an appropriate working environment, conducive to learning and providing good conditions to develop various skills among pupils.
