La puissance du « nous » dans l'ère du « moi » : l'impact des initiatives pédagogiques collectives et solidaires sur les individus et le climat scolaire : le cas du dispositif Toimoinous mené dans le collège Rosa Parks à Nantes

Abstract : This thesis examines the "Toimoinous" pedagogical initiative at the Rosa Parks middle school in Nantes, in order to determine how educational approaches that integrate and mobilise individuals (pupils and/or teachers) within groups that are supportive and organised (by rules) may contribute to making education more meaningful and improve the school climate. The study of Toimoinous comprised an initial phase of documentary research, the observation of a typical classroom session, and an interview with one of its founding members. It may be seen that Toimoinous has exceeded its initial objective of combating student "thought impediment", a concept dear to Serge Boimare, and that by providing common references and strengthening the feeling of group membership, Toimoinous makes learning more meaningful. Furthermore, its collective dimension and use of cooperative pedagogies were quickly seen to have a positive impact on the school climate.
