Le rôle des hypothèses dans la construction des savoirs en classe d’histoire

Abstract : The way of writing history depends on historians’ questions. That’s why history is a construction, influenced by the way historians question sources. The latter do not permit direct access to desired knowledge and, all along their research they have to make hypothesis in order to face up to doubts they encounter. At school, hypothesis are sparingly used. The purpose of this professional essay is to know if the organization of an activity dedicated to hypothesis’ formulation by pupils can help them to be actors of their knowledge’s construction by using dynamics process close to historians’ methods.
