Infections oculaires et rôle du pharmacien d'officine

Abstract : This work focuses on the role of dispensary pharmacists in the management of patients suffering from eye infections. As a healthcare professional for primary care, pharmacists are frequently called upon to provide guidance on eye infections. Infectious etiology, clinical picture and treatments of different eye infections are presented in the first part of the document. The second part exposes patient care charts containing algorithms for the management eye infections in order to help community pharmacists to refer patients to an ophtalmic consultation and/or to deliver the appropriate treatment and advices.
