Du monde professionnel au monde scolaire : les aptitudes athlétiques, héritage génétique ou construction physique ?

Abstract : This graduating project studies differences between physical performances in athletics, more exactly in sprint and in endurance. This study is based on a sample of students aged of 14-15 years old, come from Caucasia, west, east and north of Africa. We have shown that students from west Africa significantly have best performances than Caucasian, east and north of Africa students. Moreover, regarding students body type, correlation between the navel height and the speed on 30 meters has shown a tendancy, independently of ethnic origins. Our work has shown the importance of nature in sports performances despite the fact that cultural and nurture factors aren’t insignificant.
