L’apport du jeu sérieux dans la motivation des apprenants de FLE dans le cadre d’interactions orales

Abstract : With the European integration and the emergence of the communicative approach, oral has gradually been important in the foreign language teaching and learning. The learner, his needs and his motivation are now at the heart of the preoccupations. However, in some East Asian countries such as South Korea, accustomed to traditional lessons and marked by the presence of the teacher, the participation of the students in interactive activities can still be complicated because of the fear of being exposed to judgements of the class.
To motivate learners to be involved in the educational activities suggested, the courseware experts demonstrated the importance of working on their intrinsic motivation, their perception in terms of activity’s value, autonomy and self-efficacity. Based on their ideas, this thesis aims to show how serious games can bring answers to the issues arisen by oral interaction by designing and observing a didactic sequence including a video game used for to educational purposes.
