Adolescent suffering support body: psychomotor approach to non-verbal communication in depressed adolescents in a child psychiatry unit
Through the experience of an internship in a comprehensive hospitalization unit in child psychiatry, this brief evokes the importance of non-verbal communication in the management of adolescents in need. It describes in particular the specificity of body reading in psychomotor skills. In addition, it evokes the way to rely on what the body shows to create a psycho-corporeal capacity, through the construction of a framework and a procedure of session specific to each patient, which can allow the emergence of a calming.
