L'influence des stéréotypes de genre sur l'interprétation des émotions

Abstract : The goal of this research is to verify whether there are discrepancies in the interpretation of emotions according to students' gender. Gender stereotypes are present in the consciousness of some children and shape the way they think but this observation is not applicable to all. This study shows that emotional skills studied in school (pupils from 6 to 7 years old), differ very little according to the pupils gender. Therefore, emotional skills are not influenced by the subject's biological structure (male or female attributes) but by the environment, culture, family, society.
