Spécification et maquettage d'un outil d'aide à la conception des éclairages de scène sous SketchUp intégré à l'environnement ScenograpIA

Abstract : The ScenographIA tool developed by the GERSA aims to help the user through the scenic adaptation phase when the production must move into a different place. It will allow the user to plan the scenic and lighting settings. In order to treat the specific case of lighting design, the GERSA works currently on modeling a tool called SpotIA, which will be able to virtually manage the lights setting phase. The user would be able to create a lighting plot with specific tools. The tool aims to become the privileged support of communication between the technical team and the designers. It will also help solving problems which appear during the production tour into places with different geometries. This paper is divided into five parts: a synthesis concerning the professional manners and technologies used within the process of lighting design; several scenarios and hypotheses concerning the user-friendly design of the tool; interviews with professionals and a case study to validate or counter the first emitted hypotheses; the functional specification of the SpotIA tool; and finally a model of the application with a Ruby-developed plug-in.
