Estimation du contenu intégré en vapeur d'eau troposphérique par GPS embarqué

Abstract : In the Gulf of Lion, and more precisely in the south of the Cevennes, mainly in the fall of specific weather events during two to three days called episodes Cevennes. Heavy rains entrained by those currently anticipated bad weather events, causing flash floods with damage and even victims. Nowadays, these events evaluation is unreliable because weather models are poorly constrained due to the lack of accurate measurements of tropospheric water vapor over the Mediterranean Sea. Currently is being conducted HyMeX campaign designed to improve the meteorological models. A possible solution to achieve measures water vapor is use the Precise Point Positioning (PPP) method. This work graduation is therefore to validate the GPS software (GPSPPP) calculation based on the PPP method for estimating the integrated tropospheric water vapor content embedded GPS in comparing the new results with the results obtained by other software in a previously validated campaign. This step is completed we will use the software GPSPPP through measurements on a boat during the HyMeX campaign.
