Intérêts et limites des reconstitutions coronaires en "full zircone"

Abstract : Today there are many prosthetic treatment options available to practitioners that differ both in the choice of materials available, the shaping process and the expected results. In this context, monolithic zirconia prosthetic reconstructions seem to occupy an increasingly important place due to their durability and versatility and the number of indications is increasing. This is linked to the considerable progress of the material in many aspects, particularly aesthetics with 2nd and 3rd generation zirconia. The success of this type of reconstitution remains, however, linked to the respect of the procedures and the knowledge of the material, its shaping and these indications by the pair of practitioner and laboratory technician. Under these conditions, if lithium disilicate remains the preferred material for anterior single restorations and small anterior bridges when aesthetic is desired, zirconia is the material of choice for posterior and plural single restorations.
