Les influences translinguistiques entre la première langue étrangère (anglais/L2) et la deuxième langue étrangère (français/L3) chez les apprenants chinois

Abstract : This study aims to explore the roles played by L1 (Chinese) and L2 (English) in the oral production of Chinese learners in French L3. In particular, we focus on lexical transfers, syntactic transfers and code-switching in L1 and L2. The results showed that L2 plays a role much more important than L1 in the process of French study among the learners of different levels. We also find tout hat the degree of the LC largely influences the frequency and category of code-switching. Other factors such as the representation of languages, the language of instruction and the strategy to make people understand also lead to the related phenomenon of transfer and crosslinguistic influence during processes of acquisition of French L3.
