L'Arabe du futur en classe de FLE à l'école Elfe : une bédélecture sur l'aspect communicationnel

Abstract : Comics are now widely accepted as an effective authentic material to be used in French as a foreign language for intermediate and higher level students. Since they can be exploited in so many different ways, teachers may find it hard to know what to focus on with their learners. However, comics are composed of linguistics and visual elements that make them an ideal tool to foster communicational competences. By studying each element from a single comic book, teachers can plan several task-based lessons introducing additional communicative and cultural information to help students accomplish a final task. Yet, teachers must gradually guide the students towards the acquisition of such codes that will help them developing their general skills (reading, writing and culture), as well as acquiring new ones (literary and historical).
