L'influence de la société sur la mixité sexuée en EPS : quel poids, quelles mesures ?

Abstract : Nowadays, living together is a key notion towards which we must strive on a daily basis. At a time when the world wants to be more open, humanistic and tolerant, what about the vision of gender diversity? How can stereotypes and prejudices impact our society in SPE? In which way does the gender of an individual play a determining role in the social representations of an activity or a choice he makes? PES has a privileged place in the school world because of the relationship to the body, which makes it a relevant discipline that has been studied and is the subject of numerous studies. This research presents field analyses concerning the main actors: our students and our colleagues. Confronted with their different comments, we try to answer the numerous questions about the vision of stereotypes, the management of the mixity in collective projects, the relationship to the body and the influence of the society on the physical practice at school. Moreover, our experience as a high level athlete shaped by the federal world allows us to apprehend and converge these questions in multiple ways.
