L'impact de la sophrologie sur l'engagement des élèves dans leur activité en EPS

Abstract : The study presented in this thesis was carried out on 3rd grade students. It aimed to analyze the impact of sophrology on student engagement in PSE activities. The objective was to determine the concerns of the students during the different moments of the lesson and to point out their congruent character or not, with respect to the prescribed task, and their stable character over the duration of the lesson and of the hiking sequence. . This study was part of the theoretical and methodological assumptions of the "Course of action" program (Theureau, 2006). The data collected came from self-confrontation and explanation interviews, and teacher reviews. The analysis compared the concerns of the students at different points in the lesson and revealed the dynamics of those concerns during the lesson and the sequence. It brought out that sophrology moments are conducive to student engagement, but that sophrology has little impact on engagement in hiking activity. We have also noticed a recurring nature of the concerns, but also that the modes of engagement vary according to the students and are not stable for all.
