Étude de la vulnérabilité de l'agriculture manchoise face aux risques de débordement de nappe et de submersion marine dans un contexte de changement climatique‎

Abstract : The aim of this memoir is to study the impact of two coastal hazards on the agriculture located on the coastline of the Manche department. These are marine flooding and groundwater overflows. Indeed, agriculture is now considered vulnerable to the constraints caused by the sea level rise. Indeed, with climate change, the Manche coasts will suffer increasingly from these hazards. Studies concerning coastal hazards are too much rare despite agricultural areas are currently victims of significant pressures. Coastal agriculture is necessary to preserve coastal's richnesses. First French agricultural land, the Manche seems to be the perfect laboratory for our study. This study will focus on four localities with different agricultural structures and varied geophysical contexts. The first approach of this work will consist in locating the agricultural issues who are the most vulnerable to these two hazards. Finally, an interviewing survey of a farmers sample from these municipalities will be conducted to get an overview of their knowledge concerning these risks and their strategies to fight against that.
